It is said that a beautiful dragon princess was on the way go to Temasel of South China Sea to meet the dragon prince for getting married. When crossing the sparkling sea to find a place to take a rest, the princess was enchanted by the charms of this place and she decided to discontinue her journey. She took the form of an island and pledged to offer shelter and comfort to passing travelers. In the late 60s of the 20th century, the film “South Pacific” made by Hollywood had some scenes on the island and after that, Tioman was immediately ranked one of the most beautiful islands in the world.

Tioman Island was once voted by Time Magazine as one of the greatest islands in the world. The island is covered by sea and on the island is dense tropical forest with many species of bird and animal.
